Well, yeah I'm a Potterhead!
Harry Potter is my favorite series of films and one of my favorite series of books! I owe this obsession to my brother because I would watch the films with him and he bought all the books so I ended up following it as well. And I'm glad I did!
At first, I found it a bit scary since I was pretty young when I watched the first Harry Potter film because let's be honest watching a face grow at the back of someone's head isn't the most pleasing thing for a kid to watch! Despite this, I still watched the films and I really liked them!
However, watching these films when you're a bit older is completely different because I think of the characters and the story in a totally different way than I did before! Now, I see the unbreakable friendship between Harry, Ron and Hermione; the sacrifice that Lily Potter made to save her son; the fear behind everyone's eyes every time Voldemort comes back and the reason behind each character's actions.
This last point is specifically about Draco because before I would look at Draco like he was just a mean kid but now I understand why he does what he does. He never had proper attention from his parents and because his family was very wealthy I guess money was his reward and it got him used to having everything he wanted the way he wanted. So when a boy like Harry took the attention away from him and rejected him, he had to find a way of still being "someone" whilst around Harry and I think that's why he always acted like he didn't care and he always tried to insult and belittle the others around him. Afterwards, in the last films, Draco realizes what side he is in and that he doesn't actually want to be the person he is becoming but his devotion to his parents is bigger than his own will so he ends up in the dark side. So yeah Draco is one of my favorite characters!
Actually my favorite characters are not really the common ones like Harry, Ginny, Ron or Hermione, but instead Draco, George and Fred. I've already explained Draco but about George and Fred I don't really know how to explain it... they have such an intense friendship and the fact that they're twins made them be even closer brothers.
After all this, I think all that's left to say is my Hogwarts House! I signed up to Pottermore (if you don't know what that is, please go check it out and lose your minds: https://www.pottermore.com) a couple years ago maybe? I don't know exactly but once I signed up I did the Hogwarts House quiz and the result was... Hufflepuff! Yeah I know there's a lot of misunderstanding about this house but yeah I'm a Hufflepuff and I'm proud Haha!
